Family of world’s 74th wealthiest person to benefit from Congress’ lapse

A Texas pipeline tycoon who died two months ago may become the first American billionaire allowed to pass his fortune to his children and grandchildren tax-free.

Dan L. Duncan, a soft-spoken farm boy who started with $10,000 and two propane trucks, and built a network of natural gas processing plants and pipelines that made him the richest person in Houston, died in late March of a brain hemorrhage at 77.

Had his life ended three months earlier, Mr. Duncan’s riches — Forbes magazine estimated his worth at $9 billion, ranking him as the 74th wealthiest in the world — would have been subject to a federal tax of at least 45 percent. If he had lived past Jan. 1, 2011, the rate would be even higher — 55 percent.

Why do certain people have such a difficult time in accepting that someone over the age of 40 can look so beautiful?! To me, it appears her hand conceals the lower part of the fabric that would ALSO have stood out a bit from her leg.  Her body is great! She looks amazing! BRAVO Demi!!!

A W spokesperson tells Jezebel.com that W magazine “did not do anything unusual or out of the ordinary on Demi Moore for the photo on the cover of W. Demi is an extraordinary beautiful woman and we feel our cover reflects that.”

Demi also denies she fell victim to a botched Photoshop job. Says Demi: “Here is the original image people my hips were not touched don’t let these people bullshit you!” she tweeted Thursday afternoon, along with this “original image” that matches the cover image. She followed up with several tweets talking about her skinniness and how flattering the shoot was.

Want to see Levi Johnston‘s johnson in Playgirl?

You’ll have to wait until January, but according to his manager Tank Jones, “The shoot was fantastic!”

Jones spoke with Usmagazine.com following Johnston’s much-hyped New York photo shoot on Thursday. “We’re having a lot of fun with it,” Jones says.

The photo spread, a tribute to “hockey moms,” features the 19-year old posing with a hockey stick.

“People are going to see more of Levi than they thought,” Jones says. “There was a hockey stick involved.”

On Friday, Johnston will pose for part two of the shoot. Meanwhile, during Palin’s Oprah appearance Monday, she said, “[Johnston] is a part of the family and you want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing. And he needs that, too, Oprah.” She even went so far as to say it would be “lovely” for Johnston to share Thanksgiving with the Palins.

In response, Jones told Usmagazine.com, “Nobody put out an invitation. So we wouldn’t want to act premature.”

Emerging last night from her favourite Camden haunt, the Hawley Arms, the singer allowed her pink bra to burst out from beneath her tight white vest.

While exposed lingerie is usually considered something of a faux pas, the undone buttons suggested a very deliberate move by Amy to ensure all eyes were on her.

The star recently boosted her bust from a 32B to a 32D, which sources say has given her a fresh air of confidence.

But she’s is now said to be hooked on surgery and planning another breast enlargement and even bum implants.

‘Amy loves her boobs,’ a source told the Sun. ‘She can’t stop showing them off to friends.

‘She thinks by having another operation and bum implants that she will achieve her dream pin-up look.’

Amy has also become obsessed with exercise and keeping her body in shape.

‘She’s in the gym three or four hours a day. I mean boy is she fit – really, really fit. So that’s a really positive addiction.’

But Mitch is more concerned about his daughter reconnecting with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

He said that a reunion between the pair would take place ‘over my dead body’ and branded his former son-in-law a ‘vampire’.

Amy is currently working on her third album which is expected to be released next year.
