Natasha Richardson passes

Two days after a freak ski accident in Canada, Natasha Richardson passed away in New York on Wednesday at the age of 45.

Alan Nierob, the Los Angeles-based publicist for Richardson’s husband Liam Neeson, confirmed her death in a written statement.

“Liam Neeson, his sons (Micheal, 13, and 12-year-old Daniel), and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha,” the statement said. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

The statement did not give details on the cause of death for Richardson, who suffered a head injury and fell on a beginner’s trail during a private ski lesson at the luxury Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec. Seemingly fine after the fall, about an hour later she complained that she didn’t feel well.

She was hospitalized Tuesday in Montreal and later flown to a hospital in New York, where family members had been seen coming and going.

Richardson married Liam Neeson in 1994 and together they have two sons, splitting their time between an apartment in New York City and a farm in Millbrook, NY. She is the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and the late Tony Richardson and the sister of actress Joely Richardson.

Ms. Richardson, who was supposedly brain dead Tuesday when flown to New York, was reportedly taken off life support earlier Wednesday. Initially she got up and walked away laughing from the crash, only complaining hours later of feeling sick.

Natasha may have experienced the “Talk and Die’ syndrome. Apparently a person can be in an accident, get up and walk away, be talking and alert, then within hours completely deteriorate.  She was not wearing a helmet and may have hit her head on hard packed snow.

We may never know, but our sympathies are with her family.  It must sometimes make it even more difficult to be in the public eye and have to go through a great tragedy.

Brad Pitt’s tattoos?!

While on Oprah to talk about his life and promote his new film, Brad Pitt came face to face with one of his more ardent fans in the most uncomfortable Oprah moments of recent time.Via webcam, Oprah welcomed viewers to the show to ask questions of Pitt and Cate Blanchett, stars of “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.”

Up on the big screen came Christina, a self-professed fan of 17 years, who wanted to know how many tattoos Brad has and where they are and their meanings.

Pitt glossed over answering, so she followed up with specifics, naming the tattoo and the body parts she wanted to know about. When Pitt turned red and went silent, Oprah pressed her, the fan, for more tattoo details.

Back in May Angelina told EW about the tattoo on Brad’s back:

What’s the deal with Brad’s new tattoo?
I drew that. We went to Davos. It’s not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn’t have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.So it’s not permanent?
It is. But I was just sketching.

On him, yeah.

And you thought, ‘Let’s make it a tattoo’?
He just liked it! The picture everybody saw was kind of awkward, but it just lines up beautifully on his back, just enhances the part of the body I like.

The one on his stomach is Jolie’s birthday in Khmer (6-4-1975):

His arm tattoo has been identified as an outline of the iceman, Ötzi, who was found in an Italian glacier in 1991. He is thought to be around 5,300 years old and is Europe’s oldest natural human mummy.

William Balfour Update!!!

As first reported by Citizen Celeb, our source had suggested there were at least two suspects in the Hudson murder case.  Now, according to William Balfour’s new girlfriend, he told her he was present at the home at the time of the murder.  This implies he was there but maybe a witness to the actual murder.

Balfour refuses lie detector test!

Sources say William Balfour is still denying the heinous crime of murdering 3 of the Hudson family members.  Citizen Celeb reported earlier our exclusive information from our authority, a retired Deputy Sheriff, who believed from the beginning more than one person committed these crimes.  Now that news is out about a drug raid at the Hudson home in 2002, the fact the weapon was found and why is Julia Hudson still keeping Balfour on her Top Friends on her Myspace site?  Maybe she believes he didnt do it himself.

Our source says he believes Balfour was involved, whether he personally committed the crime is unclear, however, the shootings seem ‘gang related’ and possibly retaliation connected.  Both Jason Hudson and Julian’s father were arrested for cocaine related charges in 2002. Balfour is allegedly in a neighborhood gang.  Time will tell and the facts will come out.  Story is still developing…..but people tend to point fingers quickly at someone with a past record and Balfour may be one of the main suspects.

We wonder if it was just an occurrence of very bad choices of associations and revenge taken out on the wrong people.

Officials now saying Balfour may have had accomplice?

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!  Citizen Celeb’s source, a retired Deputy Sheriff, gave us his viewpoint right after the crime occurred.  He believed two people were involved due to the different areas the victims were shot, head and torso, plus the missing SUV!

Now, authorities are saying they are investigating more than one individual may have committed the crimes and moved the vehicle.  More developing on this horrendous tragedy!

Hudson family: More details, Neighborhood Candlelight Vigil

CHICAGO — With two crime scenes, a suspect in custody and an outraged community, Chicago’s top cop said he is confident investigators will find clues to solve the deaths of Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew.

“I suspect we’ll have some evidence that will link us to the killer,” said Police Superintendent Jody Weis, adding that surveillance cameras throughout the city may have captured images that would help the investigation.

Hudson was among seven family members and close friends who cried and held hands as they identified 7-year-old Julian King’s body from a live image on a television screen at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office Monday afternoon.

The boy was found dead earlier Monday in the back of an SUV, ending a frantic search that began after the shooting deaths of Hudson’s mother and brother three days earlier.

Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the child also had been shot. The medical examiner’s office planned an autopsy on Tuesday.

“It wasn’t a case of a stranger-type homicide,” Weis said.

Julian’s body was found early Monday in the rear seat of the SUV, which was parked on the street in a neighborhood of brownstone homes and apartment buildings about 10 miles from his home. The SUV had been the subject of an Amber Alert issued Friday after Hudson’s mother and brother were found slain.

On Sunday, Balfour was transferred to the Illinois Department of Corrections, where a spokeswoman on Monday declined to discuss his parole violation.

Corrections records show that Balfour spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was expected to remain in state custody until the Illinois Prisoner Review Board looked at his case.

Balfour’s mother, Michele Balfour, has said Hudson’s mother kicked Balfour out of the family home last winter. She denied her son had anything to do with the killings.

It was unclear whether Balfour had an attorney.

Lynette Louden, 47, said she called police about the SUV across the street from her home on Chicago’s West Side after her family’s Chihuahua started barking at it early Monday. Some neighbors said they hadn’t seen the vehicle before Monday, but Louden said it had been there since at least Saturday.

“I only hoped the body wasn’t in there,” she said. “When they said that it was, I cried.”

Weis said police were waiting for the autopsy to determine how long the boy had been dead but estimated the vehicle was parked on the street “a couple of days.”

When asked how officers could have missed the SUV during their massive search, Weis noted that Chicago is a big city and that the vehicle was “several miles away from the first crime scene.”

At a candlelight vigil Monday night, hundreds of people gathered outside the Englewood home where the two bodies were found. They sang, held hands and cried in the cold as they contributed to an expanding memorial of stuffed animals, balloons and flowers.

Many said they could not understand how someone could shoot a little boy.

“It pains all of us to know three lives are gone and we don’t know why,” said Doris Jones, who lives in the neighborhood.
